Pat testing has recently been in the news again, with a new statement from the HSE giving clarification of Health and safety at work act in regard to portable appliance testing. To help you understand this requirement we have set up a link to the appropriate HSE information at the top of this page, we are always willing to discuss your requirments and can advise you to the best way forward.
We offer Portable Appliance Testing, and provide a simple and cost effective solution, enabling all companies, organisations and Churches to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations. The govenment have issued guildlines to the frequency and type of testing required see link
Each appliance is comprehensively tested to meet the exacting requirements of the IEE code of practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. We use the latest computerised PAT testing equipment and are able to test all portable appliances in your company or organisation
On completion of the testing you will be issued with a safety certificate this detailed report provides information on each individual item. All items that pass the inspection & testing will be labelled with a safety sticker and a unique number that helps keep track of all portable appliances in your organisation .
Minor faults found during the course of the inspection can be repaired as we find them and the appliance re-tested. More serious faults will always be quoted for first.
